The Welcome Home Baby Gift Basket is absolutely adorable. A complete starter kit in a cute wicker laundry basket. There are lots of goodies in this basket for a newborn. This basket comes in neutral yellow and green.

  • First teddy bear.
  • First tooth box.
  • First haircut box.

Deluxe Baby Gift Basket

The Deluxe Baby Gift Basket is similar to the Welcome Home Baby Gift Basket. They both have the same items in them, only they are a little different with the colors. This one is Blue for boys and comes in a wicker laundry basket with handles. They are very close to being the same, but this is a different basket if you’re looking specifically for boys.

There is no list for this one because it includes the same items. The main difference is that the items are blue for boys. There is also one that comes in pink. The pink basket includes all the same as these two, but in pink for girls. You can check it out here.

Baskets for Creating Your items for baby shower

The idea of getting a basket that already has goodies inside is great for when you are pressed for time or you’re not sure what should go in the basket, but creating your own can be fun if you have the time and can think of some cute stuff that is useful.

Here you will find some cute baskets and caddies to use for stuffing anything you want into them. After this, I’ll give you some ideas of what you should stuff it with.

Lily Miles Baby Diaper Caddy

This diaper caddy would be great to use as a baby shower gift. It comes in Grey so it is neutral to a boy or girl. The fun thing about this caddy is that the dividing inserts are removable so you can use it as a large tote. This also has outside pockets for storage.

It is lightweight and portable enough to move from room to room or take in the car for traveling. The material it is made with is felt and the straps are leather and waterproof. There is plenty of room in this caddy for stuffing baby supplies in.

Badger Basket

This Badger Basket is adorable and would be a perfect basket to fill with baby essentials for a baby shower. Not only will you be able to fit a lot of baby items in here, but this basket is sturdy enough to hold up to 15 pounds. It comes with an inside lining, mattress pad, and fitted sheet.

This basket is made for babies to sleep in. I mean, you wouldn’t want to carry your baby around in it, but it’s great for when the baby is napping, and the material is removable and washable. Once the baby outgrows it or if it is not used for nap times, it will also be great for storing toys and other baby items.

Gift Basket Items For Baby

Don’t like the pre-filled gift baskets, and want to create your own, but you don’t know what to put in it? No problem. I’m going to give you some ideas of what to stuff the basket with. First, you need to choose what you will use for the basket that your mom friend will be able to use after unpacking the goodies.

So, here is a list of essentials your mom friend will thank you for and don’t feel pressured to use everything on the list. You can use this as inspiration to create your own basket if you don’t like all of my ideas.

  • Sleepers, Onesies, burp cloths, blankets, hats, socks, washcloths, and shower basket
  • Diapers, Cloth diapers (if that’s what they will be using), and wipes.
  • Baby powder, diaper rash cream, baby wash, baby lotion, and baby shampoo.
  • Manicure kit, bulb syringe, and thermometer.
  • Teddy bear, baby music CD, storybooks, and picture frame.

I hope these ideas will help you create your baby shower gift basket.

Gift Basket Items For Mom

Taking gifts to a baby shower is mostly about getting things for your mom friend that she will need for the baby. But, she will be very happy to find a surprise for her as well. I mean, She still needs to take care of herself, and I know she will love to see that somebody was thinking of her needs as well as the baby’s needs.

So, if you are creating a baby shower gift basket, why not include some goodies for mom? I’ve compiled a list here of a few things she might like to find in her basket.

  • Perfume or body spray.
  • Warm, soft socks and/or slippers.
  • A set of Pajamas.
  • Some chocolate candies.
  • Body wash and lotion.

Anything that she likes and will use will be a great gift. I was very happy with the mommy gifts I received at my baby shower in addition to all the cute stuff for my son.
